As Senate Pro-tempore Announces ‘Heartbreaking’ News For Salary Delay, Report Says Several Boxes Of Money Have Arrived In The Country Via Kenya Airways

Barely 48 hours after it was announced by Senator Albert Chie, Pro-tempore of the Liberian Senate that public servants will not get pay until February 2020, due to financial crisis which has engulfed the country, information just received has detailed the arrival of several boxes of money via Kenya Airways have allegedly been delivered at the Central Bank of Liberia (CBL).

It is unknown as to which currency is contained in those reported boxes money been allegedly received at the CBL, but it is believed that the government of President George Manneh Weah  is doing all to appease thousands of civil servants during the upcoming holidays including Christmas and New Year, and to also weaken those who are intending to form part of this well publicize Council of State ‘Weah Step Down’ December 30th  campaign.

Thousands of civil servants who reportedly hit by this ‘Heartbreaking’ news announced by the Senate Pro-tempore by, Grand Kru County Senator, Albert Chie became disgruntled, and further resolved to form a part of the December 30th campaign, but with this latest technique reportedly being applied for bringing in money perhaps to   financially settle government obligation with the civil servants would maybe boost its moral.

Efforts by the GNN to verify from the CBL regarding reported money been brought in boxes for the CBL proved unsuccessful, as the man in charge on Public Relations, Cyrus Badio could not be reached as his mobile line appeared to be off.
