As ECOWAS Scatters Over Unforeseen Military Coups, LFM Presidential Candidate Speaks
My fellow Africans,
Today, I stand before you as a leader of the Liberia First Movement, filled with admiration and a deep sense of appreciation for the revolution taking place in Africa. This revolution has given birth to a new generation of leaders who genuinely care about the emancipation and self-reliance of our beloved continent. It is with great pride that I applaud the people of Guinea, Burkina Faso, Mali, Niger, and Gabon for their remarkable efforts and achievements.
The winds of change blowing across Africa have brought forth leaders who are committed to breaking the chains of dependency and charting a new course for their nations. These leaders understand that true progress and development can only be achieved through the empowerment of their people. They recognize the importance of self-reliance, sustainable growth, and inclusive policies that uplift the most vulnerable members of society.
To the courageous citizens of Guinea, Burkina Faso, Mali, Niger, and Gabon, I say bravo! Your resilience, determination, and unwavering belief in a better Africa have inspired us all. Your voices have been heard, and your actions have set a powerful example for others to follow. You have reminded us that the power to shape our collective destiny lies within our own hands.
In this historic moment, I call upon the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) and the African Union (AU) to seize the opportunity presented by this revolution. Let us unite under the banner of progress and work towards the realization of a common vision. It is time for us to prioritize the integration of our economies, the removal of trade barriers, and the establishment of a single currency that will facilitate regional commerce and strengthen our collective bargaining power on the global stage.
Furthermore, we must develop a unified agenda that addresses the pressing challenges faced by our people. Poverty, inequality, inadequate healthcare, and the lack of quality education are among the hurdles we must overcome. By focusing on these critical issues, we can create a framework for sustainable development that leaves no African nation or citizen behind.
As leaders, we have a responsibility to foster an environment of collaboration, trust, and shared progress. Together, we can harness the vast potential of our continent, utilizing our rich resources, diverse cultures, and resilient spirit to build a prosperous and self-reliant Africa.
Let us stand together, hand in hand, as we embark on this transformative journey. Let us unite under the banner of a new Africa, where the dreams and aspirations of our people become a tangible reality. I implore you all to join me in commending the revolution in Africa and pledging our unwavering support to the leaders and citizens who are working tirelessly to pave the way for a brighter future.
One currency, one agenda for the African people. This is our call, our commitment, and our shared destiny.
God Bless Africa and the African People!
Thank you.
