Army destroys 11 military vehicles, kills dozens of mercenaries in Yemen’s western coast

HODEIDAH, June 22 (Saba) – The Yemen army and popular committees launched military offensive which killed dozens of Saudi-paid mercenaries and destroyed 11 military vehicles and armored in Yemen’s western coast of Hodeidah province, a military official told Saba News Agency on Friday.

The military operations of the army and committees targeted during the past few hours the movements of the mercenaries in the north of Mujilis and Durihimi district.

The army and committees’ offensive hit military vehicles, loaded with mercenaries and invaders, after monitoring their movements in the Western Coast.

The army and committees repelled two mercenaries’ attacks, which were backed with intensive air cover, inflicting the mercenaries’ heavy losses.

Dozens of the mercenaries were killed and injured, as well as 11 military vehicles and armored were destroyed during the army and popular committees’ offensive operations.
