Another Opportunities At LCC, Invites Business Community For The Intra-African Trade Fair

In its bid to provide business opportunities for Liberians and their foreign partners, the leadership of the Liberia Chamber of Commerce (LCC) says it has recognized the economic situation, and the desirous of marketing Liberian products and services, in so doing, the LCC is inviting the business community to participate in the Intra-African Trade Fair in Cairo Egypt from December 11 – 17, 2018.

In a press release, the LCC said this initiative is being undertaken in consultation and collaboration government institutions and the Liberia Business Association (LIBA),  and noted that  the Intra-African Trade Fair is the first of its kind in Africa.

The release said the 7-day trade fair will provide a platform for sharing trade, investment and market information, and enabling buyers and sellers, investors and countries to meet, discuss and conclude business deals.

The inaugural Intra-African Trade Fair is brought to those participating business owners by Afeximbank, in collaboration with the African Union and will be hosted by Egypt (represented by the Ministry of Industry and Trade / Export Development Authority).

The Trade Fair is expected to  take place in Cairo at the Egypt International Exhibition Center from Tuesday 11 – Monday 17 December 2018, in this line, the LCC is inviting businesses to utilize this opportunity by participating in this historic Intra-African Trade Fair which seeks to achieve positive transformation of the continent.

During this fair,  African Economic & Trade Forum will run alongside the Exhibition, it will highlights topical issues relating to trade finances, payments, trade facilitation, trade-enabling infrastructure, harmonization of trade standards and regional value chains. There will also be an opportunity for training Exporters on how to access the African market and twinning arrangements with other African or global entities.

Concluding, the LCC is calling on business owners to make use of this opportunity to contact the Liberia Chamber of Commerce which is coordinating the setup of a Liberian Booth.  Companies are invited to contact the Secretariat.
