“We Appreciate You For Your Developmental Initiatives Over The Years” –  Grand Kru Citizens Honored Deputy Speaker

Elders, youths, and women groups of Grand Kru County recently honoured the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives who is also the sitting District # 2 Representative, Hon. Cllr. Jonathan Fonati Koffa for his numerous contributions for the growth and development of their beloved county.

This colourful program which took place in Doe Community last Saturday, August 25, 2023 brought together prominent citizens from the county residing in Montserrado County, showed appreciation to the Deputy Speaker.

In their appreciation and love, the citizens in their numbers gowned their kinsman with a beautifully designed traditional dress/shirt, and further assured him of their   unflinching support for his re-election bid come October 10, 2023.

The Forpoh Community in Monrovia expressed lots of appreciation to the Deputy Speaker for what they called his numerous “developments” in that part of the Community, they named the following: Parluken Tower (Communications Network), Dweken Tower (Communications Network), Jobs creation, Rehabilitation of the Parluken – Dweken Roads, Scholarships to Forpoh Students (Primary, Secondary and Higher Education), Maintaining the Peace among Forpoh Citizens among others.

In his response to the citizens’ kind gesture, Deputy Speaker Koffa expresses thanks and appreciation to his kinsmen for their honour, and further assured them of more developmental initiatives to be undertaken.
