So Sad, US-Based Liberian Who Came To Witness Boakai’s Inauguration Dies From Heat Exhaustion

Liberians and relatives of Dauson V. Kamara based in the United States who came to witness the inauguration of President Joseph Nyuma Boakai lost life as a result of heat exhaustion on Capitol Hill on Monday, January 22, 2024.

According to report Mr. Kamara arrived in the country from the US for the inauguration,but unfortunately  fell  off  due to intense heat, which also affected the President during his inaugural speech.

Several others  who attended the ceremony were badly.affected during the intensed heat which overwhelmed that day.
