Saudis will pay to rebuild Syria, says Donald Trump

It will be Saudi Arabia and the not the United States spending “the necessary money” to help rebuild Syria, U.S. President Donald Trump said on Monday.

“Saudi Arabia has now agreed to spend the necessary money needed to help rebuild Syria, instead of the United States,” the U.S. president tweeted, days after his surprise announcement of a complete withdrawal of troops from the war-torn country.
