PROFILE: Meet Richard Albert Haba, Liberia’s Foremost IT Expert Who Is Making The Difference

In his youthful age, ‘Richard’ as he is affectionately call he professionally obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics-Management, Cisco Certified Networking Professional and Cisco Certified Networking from Cisco in Microsoft  IT Academy of Ghana, and Masters of Arts Degree in Gender, Peace and Security studies, from the Kofi Anna International Peace-Keeping Center.

As a progressive young man whose desire has been to become one of Africa’s foremost IT expert,  Richard Albert Haba in an exclusive interview said he subscribe to academic diversity, and has been in the following sectors for nine years and still counting: Academia, Administration, Supervision, Planning, Training, Manpower Development, Information Technology, Infrastructure Management, Computer Hardware, Computer Network Administration, Database Development, Peace, Gender and Security, Electricity Transmission and Distribution (T&D) Consultant amongst others.

In order to increase his academic and professional sojourn, received Graduate Certificate in Operationalizing Gender for Peace and Security Operations from the New Zealand Defense Force, Thornton, New Zealand, and a Graduate Certificate in Inter-Cultural Diversity Communication from University of Bedford Shire, United Kingdom.

He is also the happiest recipient of a Diploma in Computer Science, Certificate in Network Information Security etc., he is ending another M.Sc., Intelligent System Engineering backed with additional twelve credentials to his academic achievements.

Currently our profile of the week serving as a part-time lecturer, thesis supervisor and examination supervisor at the Bluecrest University College-Liberia for the period of three years, and is also serving as lecturer in the Department of Information Technology – College of Science and Technology and Department of Sociology, College of Liberal Arts, United Methodist University.

He is a member of IEEE International Organization, member of Academia International Research Publisher amongst others, prior to all of these he taught at Inter-Digital Computer School, the Jimmy Jolocon High School in Gardnersville and the John Christian International School in Brewerville as a tutor and a contractor.
