NSA Officer Jailed Following Allegations of Gang Rape and Kidnapping of Teenager

MONROVIA – The Monrovia City Court on Monday ordered the immediate incarceration of Peter Bon Jallah, a 63-year-old officer of the National Security Agency (NSA), following a harrowing investigation into the alleged sexual assault and kidnapping of a 16-year-old boy. The defendant was remanded to the Monrovia Central Prison after being formally charged by the Liberia National Police (LNP) with gang rape, statutory rape, and kidnapping.

The case was brought to light following a formal complaint filed by the victim’s mother, which triggered an intensive investigation by the Women and Children Protection Section (WACPS). According to the police charge sheet, Jallah was apprehended on January 7, 2026, after investigators began piecing together a timeline of abuse that reportedly spanned several months.

Authorities allege that the victim, identified as A.H.B.A. to safeguard his privacy, was subjected to multiple instances of sexual abuse between November 29 and December 24, 2025. These incidents reportedly occurred at Jallah’s residence in the Air Field, Sinkor Sharks Community. The boy, who performed domestic chores for the defendant in exchange for small monetary payments, was allegedly exploited within the very home where he sought work.

The investigation took an even more disturbing turn regarding events surrounding the New Year. Police allege that on January 1, 2026, Jallah lured the teenager under the pretense of purchasing football boots for him. Instead of a shopping trip, the boy was reportedly transported to a property on Camp Johnson Road and held captive until January 3. During this period, the victim claims he was given food that made him feel dizzy and disoriented, after which he was allegedly gang-raped by Jallah and two other unidentified adult males.

The ordeal ended late on January 3, when the victim was abandoned on 15th Street, Sinkor, near Payne Avenue. Passersby discovered the boy in a state of severe distress and assisted in reuniting him with his family. He was subsequently rushed to the John F. Kennedy Memorial Hospital, where he remains under medical supervision. A medical report from the hospital’s One-Stop Center has since confirmed physical injuries that are consistent with the allegations of sexual assault.

Despite the gravity of the accusations, Jallah has maintained his innocence. During preliminary questioning, he denied ever having contact with the boy or allowing him into his compound. However, investigators noted that the victim provided accurate and detailed descriptions of both Jallah’s residence and his vehicle. Furthermore, forensic evidence, including GSM phone data and witness statements, placed the defendant in the vicinity of the crime scenes, directly contradicting his alibi.

Based on the evidence gathered, including crime-scene visits and victim interviews, the WACPS established probable cause to proceed with criminal charges. Jallah and his accomplices—who remain at large—face charges under Section 14.70(2) for Gang Rape, Section 14.70(b) for Statutory Rape, and Section 14.50(1) for Kidnapping under the Penal Law of Liberia. The case now awaits trial before a court of competent jurisdiction as the public calls for a swift and transparent judicial process.
