During her visit to Rabat on Thursday, Liberia’s Foreign Affairs Minister, H.E. Mme. Sara Beysolow Nyanti, lauded King Mohammed VI of Morocco for his influential role in advancing political, economic, security, and religious interests across Africa.
In a declaration made after discussions with Moroccan Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Minister, Nasser Bourita, Minister Nyanti applauded the King’s perceptive strategy aimed at improving Sahel nations’ access to the Atlantic Ocean. This strategy is intended to establish the African Atlantic area as a vital geo-strategic zone for collaboration and dialogue between African nations.
Minister Nyanti also recognized the potential this royal initiative holds for connecting Sahel nations to vital transport and communication infrastructures that would foster regional growth.
In a joint communiqué, both ministers renewed their pledge to actively engage in resolving conflicts within Africa. They praised the meticulous efforts made by Morocco’s Kingdom, led by King Mohammed VI, and the Republic of Liberia, under President Joseph N. Boakai’s stewardship, towards achieving peace ans stability on the continent.
Discussing regional and international issues of mutual interest, Minister Bourita and Minister Nyanti expressed satisfaction with the alignment of their views on various issues.
