Liberian Leader Withdraws Nomination of Hilton as Assistant Public Works Minister

(LINA) – President Dr. George Manneh Weah has withdrawn with immediate effect the nomination of Mr. MacArthur Hilton as Assistant Minister for Rural Development, Ministry of Public Works.

The withdrawal of Mr. Hilton’s nomination is solely administrative.

Hon. Jackie Bernard remains the Assistant Minister for Rural Development of the Ministry of Public Works.

He still enjoys the confidence of the President and Government of Liberia, said a statement from the Presidency.
