Liberian Leader Makes More Appointments In Gov’t

President Weah Makes Additional Appointments in Government

President George Manneh Weah has made additional appointments affecting four institutions of government.

They are the Center for Agricultural Research Institute (CARI), Liberia Water & Sewer Corporation (LWSC), Liberia Intellectual Property (LIPO), and the Liberia Telecommunication Authority (LTA).

Those appointed are Dr. C. Roland Massaquoi as member to the CARI Board, representing Bong Technical College; Mr. Francis O. Nyeekpee as member to the same Board, representing the private sector and Mr. J. Samuel B. Kplaiwu as member, representing the Civil Society.

To the Liberia Water & Sewer Corporation, Atty. Marzer A. Jarbar was appointed Deputy Managing Director for Sales & Marketing, while the Liberia Intellectual Property gets Atty. P. Adelyne Cooper as Director General.

Mr. Zaza Y. Quaqua becomes Registrar General and at the Liberia Telecommunication Authority

Mr. Zotawon D. Titus was named Commissioner.

These appointments are subject to confirmation by the Liberian Senate where applicable.
