According to the official itinerary released by the Chairman on the House Committee on the funeral of the fallen lawmaker, on Tuesday-Wednesday (April 23-24), a Book of Condolence on behalf of the Representative will be opened at the Rotunda of the Capitol Building, the seat of the National Legislature of Liberia.
On Thursday, April 25, the body of the late Representative will be removed from the Samuel A. Stryker Funeral Parlour at 10 0’clock a.m. and taken to the Capitol Building for special requiem at the Legislature for official state protocols.
The wake keeping and other activities relating to the home-going of the Representative will be held on the same Thursday, April 25, from 5:00 p.m. to 12 midnight at the Paynesville Town Hall, outside Monrovia.
On Friday, April 26, according to the Committee Chairman, Thomas Fallah of Montserrado county District #5, the late lawmaker will be taken to the Sacred Heart Cathedral on Broad Street for a wake-keeping and funeral service which will be followed by burial.
The Montserrado County Representative was pronounced dead on arrival by doctors at the John F. Kennedy Memorial Hospital on Monday March 25, after his vehicle crashed near the Tower Hill Community on the Robertsfield Highway in Margibi County.
Lawrence, who won his seat in the lower House on the ticket of the Congress for Democratic Change (CDC) during the 2011 Presidential and Representative Elections, served on several committees of the House, including Investment and Concessions, Youth and Sports and Contracts and Monopolies.
He was a member of the 53rd and 54th National Legislature.
