LIBERIA: Grand Gedeans Want Security Presence At Border Points For Fear Of Security Threats

Dozens of Grand Gedeeans are calling for a strong security presence at Illegal border entries in the county; say their safeties have come under threat,

The citizens made reference to the BNI SawMills situated between Liberia and Ivory Coast.

This major border corridor, according to report, doesn’t have immigration officers to virtual the illegal entries; a situation supposedly impeding Government’s Revenue generation in that area.

Grand Gedeh County has several border entries connecting neighboring Ivory Coast; but, as a result of these illegal border entries, immigration and other joint security officers are finding it difficult to provide maximum security protection.
