LIBERIA: Amid Leadership Crisis, Nimba County Inspector Pleads For Calm Amongst Legislative Caucus

In the wake of growing leadership crisis in Nimba County between some members of the Nimba County Legislative Caucus (Representative  Younquoi  of District #8, Representative Prince O.S Tokpah of District #2 and Representative Samuel G. Korga of District #5) on one hand, and the Chairman of the Caucus, Senator Prince Johnson and the County administration on the other hand, Nimba County Inspector, B. Mac Gbliwon, is appealing to leaders of the county to a abandon their differences for the sake of development in the county.

Gbliwon believes that the existence of misunderstanding amongst leaders, especially members of the Nimba Legislative Caucus is a major factor for the slow movement of development in the county.

He think by this time after the county sitting there should be lots of activities that could be addressed by the county Caucus especially disbursements of allocated funds to implement the resolution that was derived at ,at the sitting.

It can be recalled that the three lawmakers of the county sued the county and the Caucus chairman for holding PMC election on what they termed as ‘illegal’, following this there have been claims and counter claims on whether or not those who were allegedly illegally elected should start their jobs effectively.
