Barclayville, Grand Kru County – November 25, 2025 — The Liberian government has officially enrolled 109 volunteer teachers from Grand Kru County onto the national payroll, recognizing their service and commitment to education.
Josiah Sloh Nagbe, the County Education Officer (CEO) of Grand Kru, confirmed that the Ministry of Education (MOE) authorized the inclusion of the 109 volunteer teachers on the payroll for October and November.
CEO Nagbe extended his sincere gratitude to the District Education Officers and the Human Resources Department for their essential coordination in making this significant positive advancement within the education sector possible.
“Allow me to express my gratitude to the Ministry of Education for their efforts in reducing the disparity of volunteer teachers in Grand Kru,” stated CEO Nagbe.
Additionally, Mr. Nagbe commended the county administration and the leadership of the Grand Kru County Legislative Caucus for their effective coordination since he assumed office.
“With this continued process of coordination, I’m sure that the Grand Kru County School System will never be the same,” he asserted, suggesting a promising future for the county’s education system.
