In a random interview conducted by this paper over the weekend in Monrovia and its environs, several betting lovers said with the level of services GoBet231 is introducing into the market could one day take over the market if it remains focus and continues with the level of programs.
“I think since Gobet231 came into Liberia, we the lovers of the game believe that this company will take the market one day. For instance, when customers win, they pay you at once. That is what we love,” Jerry Sandi, a regular betting customer said near GoBet 231 office in Carey Street.
There are three betting companies in the country-Doxxbet, GoBet231 and winners. Large part of their activities is base in the capital. Monrovia, the capital city of Liberia has over 2m of the total population of almost 4m.
Another betting fan, Solomon David said one thing he was happy over GoBet231 presence is its strict adherence to the rules governing the betting industry. “Competition is good. In the past, when we had two betting companies, they were not paying serious attention to customer’s satisfaction. Rather, only interested in their money.”
“But see what competition can do. GoBet231 coming has changed the dynamic of the games. So, for me, I think that one day GoBet231 will take over the market. It will not be easy at times to move into this venture.”
At other betting centers those who spoke to this paper said, “they love competing and think that Gobet231 gaming is good. “Patrick Kollie, a Motor Bike rider said, “I used to go to other betting companies over the past months, but since Gobet231 came, I have told most of my pen Pen man to turn to GoBet231. I have won over L$50,000(Fifty thousand Liberian dollars) about three hundred and fifty United States dollars.”
Last week, the head of the Liberia National Lottery (LNA), Mr. Martin Kollie told journalists that GoBet231 has met up with all its obligations in keeping with the law. “GoBet231 was licensed by the board of the LNA. IT is in complete compliance,” he said.
His clarification was in reference to series of articles carried in some media against Gobet231 that was operating illegally in the country.
