Speaking to journalists over the weekend, Jarwolo emphasized that open expression is essential to sustaining Liberia’s democratic progress, noting that societies truly thrive when citizens are free to voice their opinions without fear or restriction.
“When voices are free, democracy finds its strength,” Jarwolo highlighted, drawing a direct link between free expression and national development.
Jarwolo’s remarks come as Naymote continues to champion civic engagement and democratic accountability across Liberia. The organization has consistently promoted freedom of speech as a key driver of transparency in governance, describing it not merely as a right, but as a fundamental necessity in any democratic society.
