Leaders of the Collaborating Political Parties (CPP) today, September 5, 2021 were reportedly in high gear during a meeting held aimed at making a strategic move ahead of the 2023 general and presidential elections.
Today’s meeting between leaders of the CPP has now put to rest rumors that there were a breakdown in their operations, and their bid for the Liberian presidency come the much anticipated elections.
According to a social media post by one of the Chairperson of the CPP, and political leader of the opposition Liberty Party (LP), Grand Bassa County Senator, Nyonblee Karnga-Lawrence, today’s meeting brought together leaders and some executives of the opposition bloc.
In her note, Senator highlighted some points including: – commitment and oneness reaffirmed, – Consensus activities concluded, – Bi elections proposal reviewed, – CPP platform document on going, and the term of chairperson.
