Monrovia, Liberia – May 11, 2026 – The Center for National Documents and Records Agency (CNDRA), through its National Library Services and in collaboration with Solid Foundations Charity USA, is set to officially launch the Liberia Chapter of the organization. This partnership marks a significant step toward bridging the educational and poverty gaps in the country by empowering Liberian women and children through targeted education, self-empowerment, and self-sufficiency initiatives.
Solid Foundations Charity USA is a nonprofit institution built on the principle that geography and socioeconomic status should never be barriers to a person’s full potential. The organization’s mission focuses on providing the resources necessary for personal growth and educational advancement, ensuring that women and children across Liberia have access to entrepreneurship and empowerment programs. This commitment was solidified following a 2023 visit to Liberia, where the organization observed the limited educational and employment opportunities available to those living in rural communities.
The upcoming launch ceremony will serve a dual purpose, featuring the unveiling of a new book by a seasoned Liberian author and acting as a primary fundraising event. All proceeds generated from the occasion will be dedicated to the construction of the Solid Foundations Community Learning Center and Computer Laboratory in Robertsport, Grand Cape Mount County. This facility is designed to provide essential digital access and vocational resources to a region in need of modern educational infrastructure.
According to a release issued by the Communication Director of the CNDRA, the event will be held under the theme “Shaping Liberia’s Future Through Education.” The gathering is expected to draw a diverse group of national leaders, policymakers, educators, and development partners. These stakeholders share a common goal of advancing community well-being and ensuring that the next generation of Liberians is equipped with the skills and knowledge required to thrive in a globalized world.
