Presenting the items on behalf of the BMMC Management, the Company Community Relation Manager, Henry Vincent said the items is in fulfillment of their promised to the county Health Team in setting up the treatment unit the WAWU facility in Bo Waterside.
Mr. Vincent put the cost of the items to 14 thousands United States dollars said was also the company’s way of buttressing the efforts of the Government and to help the county Health Team in the fight against COVID-19 pandemic in the county.
He further that by the next week the company will send her engineers to begin the fencing of the treatment unit at Bo Waterside.
For his part the Chief Medical Officer of Liberia, Dr. Francis Ketteh told the BMMC that the MOH is so grateful for the donation he added that when you have a partner who is willing to work with you it makes it much easier for you.
He said though the company is paying tax but see it expedience to help the county and its people in carrying out some meaningful donation.
Since the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic the Bea Mountain Mining Company has continued to contribute to the fight against the deadly virus.
Prior to this latest donation, the Gold Mining Company donated several sanitary materials to health facilities check points and several towns across the county.
