Ahead Of December, Violence Engulf Cape Mount, Opposition Candidate Vehicles, House Set Ablaze

Ahead of December 8, 2020 midterm senatorial elections, a candidate of the opposition political party, has alarm over election violence in Grand Cape Mount County, specifically in District # 1, when the residence and two vehicles of Simeon Taylor were reportedly  set ablaze by unknown persons with guns and other dangerous weapons entered his residence.

Simeon Taylor who fled the scene and is currently in Monrovia for fear of his death accused people from Sierra Leone to be party of the violence, despite calls made to the police regarding to the incident nothing was done to bring the situation under control.

According to reports, Rep. Bob Sheriff of the district, who attempted calming the situation house was also set ablaze, and accused Victor Watson of the CDC in the county of been the mastermind of the violence, noting that despite the presence of police in the District, nothing was done to rescue them from the hands of the victims.
