The Management of ArcelorMittal Liberia on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 held a colorful honoring program for five officers of the Security Expert Guard Agency of Liberia (SEGAL) for their professional services over the years with the management at its operational area in Buchanan Grand Bassa County.
According to AML’s Head of Corporate Services, Samuel Stevquoah the Company’s move is to motivate their workers as part of best practices, and further noted that this initiative will be extended to Nimba operational area as well.
Speaking further, Mr. Stevquoah said, this move is aimed at recognizing the hard work and committed of its workers which he noted is an added advantage on the job, “You are an integral part to the success of this Company, you are the face of the company, entry and exit wise”, he noted.
The honoring program, he pointed out is part of the company’s annual initiative and “we will continue to do such”, he maintained. He urged SEGAL officers to always be proud of themselves as their boss is proud of the company even though, they are not perfect because, perfection is a process that can be worked on , over time.
Mr. Stevquoah encourage the officers to continue to do their best, enforce the rules void of discrimination for the betterment of the company and their profession.
“As para military people, let’s discipline be the hall mark of your job and learn to channel your differences through your leaders”, he urged the SEGAL officers.
In addition to the recognition, the Company presented certificates to the honorees including 25kga bag of rice to each of the honorees as a sign of appreciation for their hard work.
SEGAL is the security agency providing professional security services for AML in Grand Bassa and Nimba Counties.
It has the highest employee base as a Liberian owned Company with over three thousand Liberians operating in thirteen of Liberia’s fifteen Counties.
Also speaking at the honoring program was the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of SEGAL Momo Cyrus who congratulated his officers for their outstanding performances to duty.
He at the same time hailed the AML’s management for the meaningful and timely motivational initiative to his employees.
Mr. Cyrus at the same time provided 150USD to the female honorees and 100USD to the male honorees as a means of further motivating them to do more on the job.
“Your work has helped to increase our performance and morale for which, we appreciate in high esteem”, he told the gathering.
According to the SEGAL Boss, they will continue to remain engaged and supportive to them.
“We will do all we can to ensure that we re-energized your lost motivation, we are aware that there are challenges but we can assure you that, it will soon be of the past”, he said.
The SEGAL’s CEO pledged the Company’s continual support and commitment to his workforce for the betterment of the company.
Meanwhile, the happy beneficiaries shower praises on SEGAL and AML for the honor and motivation bestowed upon them.
They promised to do more in order to be recognized always.
Moreover, they use the occasion to encourage their colleagues to work hard, remain focus and committed to their job.
