Amid Public Outcry On Who Brutalize SUP Members, Police Says It Is Yet To Make Any Arrest

Liberia National Police says it is yet to arrest individuals associated with July 26 bloody counter-protest involving CDC-COP and members of campus based Student Unification Party

On July 26, 2022, Liberia’s 175th Independence Day Anniversary celebration, the CDC Council of Patriot counter protested against campus based student Unification Party when the students had gone to present their petition to the U.S. Embassy near Monrovia.

Since the clash between the two groups, some Liberians have been calling on the Liberian Police to conduct full scale investigation and prosecute those responsible for the violations.

But, phoning on the OK Morning Rush Thursday, Police spokesman Moses Carter said state securities are yet to arrest anyone connected to the July 26 violence.
