750,000 Fans Turn Out For Liverpool’s Champions League Parade
750,000 people turned out to welcome home Champions League winners Liverpool in unbelievable scenes.
Hundreds of thousands of fans flooded the streets of the city for Liverpool’s parade on Sunday.
Jurgen Klopp and his team arrived back in Liverpool on Sunday following their Champions League final victory in Madrid on Saturday.
The squad were met by a sea of reds as they traveled on an open-top bus. It began at Allerton Maze and ended near the waterfront as fans climbed anything to gain a vantage point. We’re talking lampposts and traffic lights.
Fireworks were lit with some letting off red smoke bombs to add to the incredible atmosphere.
