Update: Court Lifts Injunction On Tugbeh Doe’s Burial

The Civil Law Court ‘A’ has reportedly lifted the earlier preliminary injunction placed on the burial of the late businessman Tugbeh N. Doe, his funeral will now take place on  which shoFriday November 4, 2022, and is currently deposited at the Samuel Stryker Funeral home in Sinkor.

The injunction was placed based on a petition for declaratory judgment filed by Madam Gertrude Talery-Doe who is claiming to be the legitimate widow and wife of the late Tugbeh Doe.

Madam Talery-Doe’s lawyer Cllr. Abraham Simpson’s ten counts application to the Court among other things claimed that his client got married to the late Tugbeh Doe on October 4, 1975, in the United States of America, and never divorced him up until his death.

Cllr. Simpson in the count revealed that during the marriage his client and her husband were blessed with four children, but one passed at an early age of three.

Cllr. Simpson maintained that his client Madam Gertrude Talery-Doe is the legitimate widow and wife of the decease saying that co-defendant Musu Fahnbulleh is illegally purporting to be the wife of the late Doe and has embarked on undertaking functions for his burial.

Our Judicial Correspondent further said Madam Gertrude Talery-Doe’s accounts to the Court has compelled Judge Nancy Sammie to issue Writ of Summons for Musu Fahnbulleh owner of Musu’s Spot to appear before the Court surrounding the matter.
