According to him, Rev. Dr. Samuel Reeves, who was reportedly advocating for sanctions against the country, should not be the one heading the Liberia Council of Churches.

He however promised to lead a robust advocacy for the decision to be thwarted, noting that Rev Samuel Reeves could mortgage the LCC during the 2023 elections; because, he is a politician.
