LIBERIA: Several Ivorian Refugees Beg For Integration

Several Ivorian Refugees appeal for integration within the Liberian society, beg for the removal of their refugee status

Their interest followed latest mandate by the United Nations High Commission on Refugees to repatriate them to Ivory Coast.

LRRRC Deputy Director for Operations, Alphanso Wallace said though some of the Ivorian Refugees are already returning to the Ivory Coast, others have decided not be seen under the refugee status.

Deputy Director Wallace said plans are being carried out for the construction of 150 housing units to accommodate those applying for local integration.
