In Rivergee: Press Union Of Liberia Celebrates WPFD In Grand Style

Members of the Press Union of Liberia (PUL) today joined Journalists around the world to celebrate the World Press Freedom Day in the city of Fishtown, Rivergee County.

The occasion was indeed colorful, when officials of the county including two members of the Legisature, Senator Commeny Wesseh an  Representatives Francis Saidy Dopo,ll,   traditional leaders, the students community and friends of the media joined the leadership of the union to parade the streets of the city.

Citizens of the county were in jubilant mood celebrating with PUL on this day, the Mayor of the City of Monrovia, Jefferson Tamba Koijee despite of negative reactions from some quarters in Monrovia is expected to address the occasion at the Fishtown City Hall.
