Liberian Journalists To Converge In Fishtown To Celebrate World Press Freedom Day

Liberian Journalists will on Tuesday, May 3, 2022  join their colleagues around the world to celebrate this year’s World Press Freedom Day.

Here in Liberia, Journalists will converge in the city of Fishtown, Rivergee County in  western Liberia, in commemoration of this day.

The President of the Press Union Of Liberia, Charles B. Coffey, Jr., along with Corp of officers will lead hundreds of Journalists to Rivergee beginning today, April 30, 2022.

The objective of this day is to highlight the difficulties journalists face worldwide while reporting truth.
