Following GNN report last week that dozens of motorcycles and Tricycles riders have resolved to violate the ‘No Go Zone’ restrictions imposed by government, some group of riders who stormed the offices of the GNN this morning vowed to disengage in the of upcoming elections if the government deny them of free movement.
The motorcycles in their numbers who refused to be identified said GNN report recently which noted that the behaviors of the motorcycles to violate the no go zone restrictions may lose serious security threat in the future.
But for the motorcycles, they said the free movement in Monrovia and it’s environ was due to their support to the CDC-led government coming to power during 2017 general and presidential Elections.
“Any attempt by the police to raid us from the street considered as no go zone, we will disengage our support for the re-election of President George Weah in 2023”, the spokesman of group who refused to be named said.
“Yes it is true, these guys are right, they were ordered to remain in the streets, and ply wherever they want to go, because their votes are matters”, a resident of Clay Street speaking to our reporter said.
