LIBERIA: Nyonblee Karngar-Lawrence LP Faction Withdraws From CPP

Nyonblee Karngar-Lawrence’s faction of Liberty Party withdraws from Collaborating Political Party; says CPP is beset with seemingly intractable conflict growing out of mishandling of its Framework Document by ANC.

According to Senator Lawrence faction of the Liberty Party, the decision was reached at a National Executive Committee Special Sitting in Buchanan where the NEC mandated that the party be withdrawn for the CPP.

It noted that the CPP is now further beset with a seemingly intractable conflict growing out of the mishandling of its Framework Document by the ANC, during its eight months of leadership.

The faction accused the Alternative National Congress of proceeding in a manner and form that undercuts the spirit and intent of the collaboration, as well as fueling intra-party conflict within the Liberty Party.
