Insecurity Nowadays Overwhelming Liberia, As Businessman Brutally Mob To Death

Liberians and foreign residents in Monrovia and its environs are frightened by day due to usual happenings nowadays including the constant killings of innocent people by people who sometimes go free with prosecution, seems worrisome with the latest being a young businessman who was brutally murdered by group of people in Clara Town, Bushrod Island on Last Saturday, March 12, 2022.

According to report, a young Liberian businessman who had gone to purchase his goods from Clara Town was reportedly mobbed to death by some group of individuals including motorcyclists who they accused him of making an attempt to steal a motorbike despite several pleads to his killers.

Several persons who called on the OK FM morning program this morning, March 15, 2022 expressed sorrow over the brutal murder of this young Liberian businessman, calling on the Liberia National Police to quickly bring those to justice who have been arrested in connection to this act.

Many of the callers on the show, called on the Liberia National Police to disallow motorcyclists from plying the principle streets, as many of them have been accused of carrying these acts including jerking  personal properties of innocent people in the streets.

Speaking on the issue via mobile phone on OK FM with Clarence Jackson, police spokesperson, Moses Carter confirmed the arrest of those who have been linked to the brutal murder of this young businessman on last Saturday, and further disclosed that their investigation will be done soon.

Mob justice in Liberia has become a common thing as innocent people are been murdered in cold blood without the appropriate justice taken, as perpetrators go with impunity.
