Another Disaster Hits The Port Of Harper, As Vessel Captain Reported Missing Has Been Found Dead

Another disaster has reportedly hit Maryland County when the Captain of a Sea vessel (Cassiopea) which regularly travelled from Monrovia to Harper, Maryland County who was pronounced missing upon docking at the Port of Harper was found dead.

According to GNN Correspondent in the County, the Captain identified as George Karjah, 59, disembarked from the vessel on Thursday, December 9, 2021 to socialize with the locals but reportedly got missing, leaving people including security officers in the city to launch for his whereabouts.

GNN Correspondent in the county said as a result of this, the lifeless body of the Captain was found on December 11,202. Eyewitnesses told GNN that the late Captain did not return up 11pm, a situation that made the occupants of the vessel to alarm about his whereabouts.

:In an interviewed with the Director of the Sea Port Harper, Williams Wallace said the Management of the Sea port of Harper regret the sad situation, noting that since he took over the Port as Director, this is the first of its kind for such situation to happened.

He said on Thursday morning, December 9, 2021, the vessel was given clearance from the Port of Harper but unfortunately, but unfortunately an information was released on Friday morning that the Captain was Missing.

Mr. Wallace disclosed that when he got the news he quickly contacted the National Security and other concern citizens in the County which led to an immediate search for the Captain until Saturday morning when he was found dead.

According to our correspondent when the Captain body was discovered several citizens in Maryland County include the Media, Health workers, National Security, Harper Sea Port Management amongst others went on the scene to see the lifeless body of the vessel Captain.

However, security authority in the county are said to be investigating the cause of death of the vessel Captain.
