As Muslims Observe Eid Mubarak, PLP Political Leader Donates Cow, Rice To National Muslims Council

As Liberian Muslims join their fellow Muslims around the world observe the Abraham Day of Eid al-Adha considered as a holy day that honors the sacrifice Ibrahim (Abraham), the political leader of the People’s Liberation Party (PLP) has extended his humanitarian assistance to the National Muslims Council by donating cow with 50 bags of rice for the observing of the day.

The donation was made on Monday, July 19, 2021 at the headquarters of the National Muslim Council, Sinkor Old Road by the National Chairman of the PLP, Mr. Wilmot JM Paye who during the donation congratulated the Muslim Community for the commemoration of the day, while asking all imams and Muslims to remember Liberia in prayers for sustainable peace, love and above all, the development of the country.

Receiving the items on behalf of the National Muslim Council of Liberia, Imam Mohammed Mansalay, expressed thanked and appreciation the vision bearer/political leader of the People’s Liberation Party (PLP), CEO and founder of Dr. Cassell’s Charity Foundation for his thoughtfulness as well as his kind gestures.
