Ukrainian producers of poultry are now able to export their products to the Republic of Liberia. The corresponding contract was agreed by the competent authorities of the two countries.

According to Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba, for a long time African countries remained outside the focus of Ukraine’s foreign policy.

“These are great new opportunities, including for Ukrainian exporters. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in cooperation with the State Food and Consumer Service, opened the Liberian market for Ukrainian producers of poultry and corresponding produce. It is important that we are talking about an increase in the export of food products with high added value” – he said.

Earlier, Ukraine and the EU signed a Memorandum of Strategic Partnership in the raw materials industry.
