A group of Liberians drawn from diverse backgrounds have resolved to present an alternative front in the pending general election comes 2023.

The group comprises of the Movement to Ensure Liberia’s Transformation MELT, Volunteers for change (VO!CE), the Liberian People’s Party (LPP) and other political groupings, says the hopes and inspiration of the Liberian People have been dashed by the ruling Party.

According to statement release during last weekend in Monrovia, the group believes that the current Liberian opposition block has convincingly proven that they lack ideas and the strategy to lift Liberia from its current economic and political pit.

The statement said after many weeks of deliberations, the group informs the Liberian people of their intention to fuel a single slot of candidate with a proven integrity for the presidency, vice presidency, senate and house of representative in the 2023 elections.

But who is the Liberian with proven integrity? Is Tiawan Saye Gongloe, a current National Chairman of the Movement for Justice In Africa or MOJA which he joined in 1977, and a founding member of the Liberian People’s Party (LPP) since 1984 or will it be somebody else.
