Sen. Dillon Criticises President Weah’s ‘Presidential Project’

Senator Abraham Darius Dillon of Montserrado County

Montserrado County Senator, Abraham Darius Dillon has criticized the Executive Branch of Government headed by the Liberian leader, President George Manneh Weah for using money intended for the Liberian people and approved by the Liberian Senate as his personal project under the canopy as Presidential Project is wrong and must be corrected.

Speaking on the OK FM Morning Show this morning, March 17, 2021, Senator Dillon said the Liberian leader is not doing the right thing by putting Liberians under false façade that monies being spent by the President was approved to be allotted to the Liberian people and not his personal monies naming such monies used on project as ‘Presidential Project’.

He condemned the Liberian leader for using the people’s money to print book bags with his photo on them, and dedicating projects around the country such as the lightening up of Monrovia and other counties as his personal project is wrong, and she should desist or use his personal funds for his ‘Presidential Project’.

“If we members of the Senate appropriate monies to be given out for the benefit of the Liberian people must be used as it is and not be used as Presidential Project; the President has his own monies and he should disburse that in his own name,” Senator revealed.
