LIBERIA: Sheik Jalloh Commends Muslims For Welcoming Pres. Weah On His First Counties tour

The Islamic Advisor to President George Weah, Sheik Usmane T. Jalloh is commending Muslims In Bong, Nimba & South East for kind-heartedly for coming out in their numbers to welcome him  and the Liberian Leader on his first county tour.

The tour, started on February 12, 2021, and aimed at strengthening the President and citizenship relationship, inspected and also dedicated several developmental  projects  in Nimba, Grand Gedeh, River Gee, Maryland, and Grand Kru Counties.

He said during the tour with the president, Muslims in Nimba, Grand Gedeh, River Gee, Maryland, and Grand Kru Counties on several occasions gown and presented goat, sheep and cow to   him and the Liberian leader and even them for appointing a Muslims as an advisor to him, since Liberia was declared as an independence state in 1847.

Speaking in an interview with Reporters in Central Monrovia over the weekend ,Sheik  Jalloh said the Muslims  in those counties expressed their  joy to the Liberian leader and promised to   support him in what so ever means in his presidency will also buttress hi governmental developmental drive.

The president Islamic Advisor then used the occasion urged Muslims in Liberia to rally behind President Weah to development the country.

Sheik Jalloh noted that, no past Liberian president or government ever had Islamic Advisor except President Weah so, Muslims in Liberia should join him for unity and transformation.

According to him, the Weah administration has exhibited religious tolerance therefore, he urged both Christians and Muslims to support the President in reconciling the entire country. He said what President Weah has done during three years in office is more than other presidents in promoting diversity and tolerance.

According to him, the Liberia Leader has promised to reconstruct the central Mosque in Gbanga City Bong County that was constructed many, many years ago.
