In Rivercess County ‘Mask Devil’ Steals Stimulus Food From Residents

Here in Liberia unusual happenings are said to be the order of the day, which always takes people by surprise, like this latest story from Rivercess about the stealing of six bags of rice intended for the use of citizens in the County due to the outbreak of COVID-19 were reportedly stolen by what they called ‘Country Devil’ or Mask man overnight, a situation that pondered many in the County.

According to report, the fixer of the Country told local residents that the rice was taken away on grounds that it was denied of receiving its share of the stimulus package being approved by the Liberian Government for the most vulnerable citizens around the County.

Police in the County are said to playing a low profile on the issue regarding the alleged stealing of stimulus food by a local country devil.
