Thousands Citizens in Grand Kru County, specifically District # 2 on a daily basis turnout to appreciate their lawmakers who is currently in the County to dedicate several developmental projects who they considered as their savior who has made a significant impart in bringing development in the County.
According to a dispatch from the County, Representative Jonathan Fonita Koffa who arrived in the County last week to identify with his people has been given rousing welcome by thousands of citizens including the elders, and youth groups appreciating his contributions to the development of that southeastern County.
His presence in the County witnessed the official launch of the universal access tower in Paluken by authorities of the Minister of Post & Telecommunications, and the Liberia Telecommunications Authority (LTA); this dedication comes at the backdrop of tireless efforts been exerted by the District 3 2 lawmaker making sure that the capital of Forpoh Statutory is at long last connected to network.
Following the official launch of the Universal Tower, this hardworking lawmaker took off time to tirelessly dedicate several projects backed with his quest to begin campaign activities as the chairman of the Grand Kru campaign for the re-election of the Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC) candidate, Dr. Peter Sonpon Coleman.
While in the county, the District # 2 lawmaker has been convening meetings including the District Development Meeting in Betu with the residents of Jloh district, thereafter, the learned legal practitioner and a respected lawmaker amongst his colleagues visited several institutions including the three elementary schools nearing completion. Cllr. Koffa while in the County will cast his vote on December 8, 2020.
Some citizens who spoke to the GNN in the County expressed explicit confidence in their lawmaker, noting that he is the man for all who is always in the vanguard for the people of the County and their wellbeing. Noting, “We appreciate Representative Koffa for his concern for us, be it from where you comes from”, Sara Nimely, a resident of Paluken who spoke to the GNN with gladness said.
