Dead Whale Surfaces On Grandcess Beach

Dozens of residents of Grandcess, Grand Kru County were Tuesday morning, September 1, 2020 awaken to the discovery of a gigantic Whale on the beach In Grandcess.

According to our Correspondent, many of those who went over to see the dead whale were seen with cutlasses to get their share of the dead animal, as they expressed mixed reactions of its appearance on the beach.

Speaking to one of the eyewitnesses on the beach, Sylvester Sayon said the whale was seen by some fishermen who were on their fishing expedition spotting the whale floating on the water calling for a help from the community members, and further disclosed that this is the second time in two years for a dead whale to surfaced in the county.

According to reports, more than 200 residents of Grandcess including people from the nearby towns were seen on the beach to witness and participate of the butchering of this dead animal.
