Ex-President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf Tweets – “Poverty, Illiteracy, Others Must Be Eradicated In 21st Century”

Former Liberian Leader, Madam Ellen Johnson Sirleaf has said “Poverty, illiteracy, disease and inequality do not belong in the twenty-first century,” in a tweet, Madam Johnson Sirleaf also said in the tweet, “We must eradicate these ills for the benefit of all,” she said.

This statement by the former Liberian leader, and the first female president of Africa received mixed reactions from several individuals who also replied’ with some expressing disappointments in her when she led Liberia without touching on what is now been said by her today.

While others appraised her as one of Africa’s best leaders, lauding her international role making sure that the image of the country which was widely exposed for the betterment of Liberians during her reign.
