Students Of The Ganta Public School Are Rejecting For Their School To Be Used As Quarantine Center

Flash Back: Students in high gear at a Science Bow Competition in Nimba County

Students of one of the Liberian government run public schools affectionately known as the Child Friendly School in Ganta, Nimba County are said to be refusing for their campus to be used as one of the quarantine centers in Ganta by health authority in the County, after three cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed positive.

According to report, both students and teaching staff of the school have resolved not to allow local health authority to use the school building as a quarantine center, noting that it will be dangerous for the building to be used as a quarantine center which they noted will not be disinfested properly after it usage.

As a refusal of the students and teachers of the Child Friendly School refusal for the campus to be used, report say health authority in the County are contemplating asking authority of the Ganta United Methodist School for the use of their campus and the building as one of the quarantine centers in the County.
