As the Liberian Government continues to highlight the issue of the State of Emergency (SOE) recently announced by the Liberian leader, President George Manneh Weah which was endorsed by the Liberian Senate aimed at minimizing the deadly outbreak of the Coronavirus in Liberia, the National Public Health Institute of Liberia (NPHIL) in its update today announced the increased in the number of cases and deaths.
According to the NPHIL, Liberia has 99 confirmed cases with 84 active cases, 7 recovered, with 8 deaths, while 489 contacts are said to be under review.
This latest report by the NPHIL seems to worry many Liberians including foreign residents as to why this rapid level of increased cases instead of decreasing in the number after reported 600 persons were recruited by the Monrovia City Corporation under the watchful eyes of Jefferson Koijee as Contact Tracers.
