As COVID-19 Ravages: Liberians Anxiously Set to Listen to President Weah’s Nationwide Address Today

As this deadly Coronavirus or COVID – 19 ravages Liberia with the death rate continue to rise around the world, the Liberian leader, President George Manneh Weah is expected to address the nation today, April 8, 2020 at 12pm to speak on the status of the outbreak of the COVID-19 in Liberia.

His today’s nationwide address will put to rest widespread gossips that the Liberian leader has refused to speak on the outbreak since this deadly disease hit Liberia taken the lives of innocent Liberians; this address will give the overall information on the status of the virus.

Over the past weeks Liberians have been speculating that the Liberian government was contemplating on a possible lockdown, while others expressing their feelings that a lockdown at this time for the virus in Liberia is not feasible.
