
Mr. George Dweh, cousin of the late Liberian President, Samuel Kanyon Doe who seized power in a 1980 coup, and also served as Speaker of the National Transitional Legislative Assembly of Liberia (NTLA) from October 2003 to 14 March 2005 has reportedly died today following a protracted illness, according to sources.
He George Dweh was a Liberian politician and a member of the ethnic Krahn group who was a founding member of the defunct armed faction groups, the Liberians United for Reconciliation and Democracy (LURD) and Movement for Democracy in Liberia (MODEL).
