Miss Earth Liberia 2020 Officially Kicks off In Nimba County 

La Queen Entertainment, Liberia’s premier pageant institution in partnership with The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) officially kicked off the Miss Earth Liberia 2020, under the Theme (Angels of Earth) with the final coronation scheduled to be held on the 28th of March 2020.

According to a dispatch, On Friday, January 17, La Queen Entertainment team and representatives of the EPA along with 10 beautiful contestants kicked off their environmental sightseeing to the Kpatawee waterfall in Bong County, where the contestants had the opportunity to see and appreciate some of the beautiful tourist sites in Liberia. However, this trip was meant for the contestants to do their Eco tourism interview which is one of Miss Earth essential requirements so while at the waterfall, the contestants used the time to do photo-shoots and Eco interviews that will be release to the public soon for viewings.

The team continued the trip to Ganta, Nimba County on Saturday January 18 with the official pre-Launch at the Gompa City stadium, backed a musical concert along with some of Liberia’s top musical artists.

The Miss Earth Pageant is an environmental women empowerment program that promotes the involvement in sustaining, Green and conservation issues through educating communities through active and hands-on Leadership, Mentorship, building self-confidence and Moral values to cushion the discovery of hidden potentials. This program brings together more than 120 beauty queens from all over the world every year to discuss about safe environment and healthy living through land management, water, soil or pollution, etc,

The contestants/Earthlings served as Climate change and health ambassadors in their various communities, and also enable them to get involved in making our environment healthy and clean.

Miss Earth Pageant is an international Environmental Beauty Pageant, where the crowned delegate represents Liberia in the Philippines.

La Queen Entertainment in Partnership with the Monrovia City Government successfully hosted the first edition of the Miss Earth Liberia pageant last year with the THEME (Promoting clean and Healthy Environment), where several Liberians beauty Queens showcase their talents. Since the pageant, La Queen Entertainment has sent out 6 (six) representatives to represent Liberia in various international pageants flying our national flag.

This year’s event is poised to be very colorful and exciting as the organizers and contestants are very eager to get the ball rolling. The official launch is scheduled to held at the Monrovia City Hall ball room on February 14 with series of activities. The Organizers are using this medium to call the Government, Environmental Agencies; NGO’s and fans for their support in making this project a success.
