SINJE TOWN, (LINA) – Police in Grand Cape Mount County have launched a manhunt for two men who were allegedly involved in the killing of a 35 year-old man in Gold Camp, Gola Konneh District, Grand Cape Mount County.
According to the Police report, the 35-year old victim identified as Ibrahim Kamara, was on Friday, November 29, involved in an argument with three men in the Gold Camp Community during which fighting erupted.
The report stated that during the fight, the 35-year old victim was allegedly stabbed in his stomach by one Abraham Fofana, which led to his death on Sunday, December 1.
The Police indicated that when the complaint was forwarded to them, the victim was sent to hospital for medical treatment, while efforts were being made to arrest the suspects.
The Police said two days following the treatment, victim Kamara, who was a Sierra Leonean, died as a result of the wound he sustained during the fight.

Liberians and the victim’s fellow Sierra Leoneans are demanding the arrest of the three persons that were involved in the fight with the victim.
This led to the unleashing of the “Country Devil” by the traditional people to restore calm to the town.
With the intervention of both the Liberia National Police and the Traditional leaders, one of the suspects, Abraham Fofana, the man who allegedly stabbed the victim was arrested near the border with Gbapolu County.
Following the arrest of suspect Fofana, he was brought to the Lofa Bridge detail of the Liberia National Police, but due to the tension from the locals he was transferred to the Bomi Correction Center where he is currently in detention.
Meanwhile, Police in the county are in pursuit of the remaining two suspects who are currently on the run.
Gold Camp is a major gold mining town in Gola Konneh, District with many of the miners being aliens.
