Criminal Activities On The Increase In Monrovia. As LEC Facilities Being Vandalized

Despite all efforts being applied by the Liberia Electricity Corporation (LEC) to restore electricity in Monrovia and its environs, criminals and unpatriotic individuals have resolved to vandalize the corporation activities with no remorse of conscious.

According to report, these criminals used the opportunity during a heavy down pour of rains Saturday night empty more than 30 boxes electricity meters taken them away.

This latest situation may again brew endless darkness to some communities who have over past time enjoyed electricity. If nothing is done to speedily bring to book those involved in such act, Liberia will continue to remain backward. The assigned security at these facilities must see reason to redouble their professional services in order to abort future happenings.
